Lily’s Book Club

This is not another book club.

This is where we learn to read between the lines. Analytical, against brain rot, and convenient — one carefully chosen book, read closely together, online.

Why it exists

This book club was created from a simple concern: what happens to our ability to think when we gradually outsource thinking itself?

In an age when AI can summarise anything, we want to protect something deeply human: our ability to question, interpret and think independently.

How we read

You won’t be told what a book means.

You’ll learn how to build your own interpretation — and defend it with evidence. We are not here merely to consume books. We are here to let books challenge us, unsettle us, and teach us how to think.

You will be expected to think, question, disagree, defend your ideas, listen to opposing perspectives — and perhaps even change your mind.

Critical thinking is not the ability to have an answer to everything. It is the ability to sit with a question long enough to develop an answer of your own.
